‘Love the short, can’t wait to see what you do next’
That was Sir Stevie Spielberg and he said that about your short film.
I should say you’re a small time filmmaker with aspirations to be a Hollywood filmmaker.
But unfortunately you are broke.
You quit your job to spend more time on your short film, you moved in with your parents to save money and you took out a big fat loan to pay for all the costs of filming.
And now you’re screwed!
You’re going to have to let Sir Stevie down because you can’t repeat the act.
Not only are you cash-less but once you acquire them ducats you’ll have to hand them over to the bank immediately to pay off the loan.
This is what I mean by setting up for the long term.
If the powers that be want to make sure you are not a one hit wonder before taking a chance on you, and that’s a strong possibility, then it helps to have no restrictions to perform again.
