Listening to fear

I think Martha Beck was on to a crucial insight when she wrote about welcoming and listening to fear rather than suppressing it. It's genius. Instead of scolding yourself for feeling afraid you turn to the fear and say - I hear you, what do you need? How can I help?

Others heads

I think an invention where you can see what's going on in other's heads will greatly alleviate a lot of mental health issues. Because then you'll see just how much fear lives in everyone's mind. And it would be particularly powerful with those you thought had it all together. We're all scared. We all doubt.
