I can’t do it.
I can’t go on.
I want out, somebody get me out.
You’ve been pushed to the brink and you feel physically, emotionally and mentally beaten up.
The situation feels hopeless and you see no way out.
You just want the pain to stop.
You search your inner reserves and there appears to be no strength left to recover from this latest setback.
I hypothesize that when you’re pushed to the brink like this, when it nears the time to declare out loud that you quit and you don’t.
It deepens your passion a hundred fold.
What’s more, when you eye up the challenges and actually chose to continue it’s like having a million watts of defiant electricity coursing through your veins.
You feel like you could run for days or go 9 rounds with a UFC champion or even work non stop for two days straight.
Ideally it shouldn’t come to this cycle of extremes. Really you’d want to find an even keel to be on everyday to avoid stress but it’s a curious sensation I’ve noticed – this deciding to continue recharge.
