Is there only one reality?
If two people can walk away from one meeting with polar opposite opinions of how it went, can we call reality subjective?
Every self help book in the world spends at least 300 pages trying to sell you on changing your view of reality.
The self help literature will say view challenges as opportunities for growth rather than reasons to grumble.
View life as teeming with adventure and endless possibilities rather than a chaotic whirlwind of uncertainty.
And finally view yourself as a highly capable individual rather than a helpless schlub.
What should we do with the guy who finds positives in his billion dollar company failing?
Send him to the looney bin or invest in his next venture?
It seems that the key to success is accepting that there is not one version of reality and then finding an interpretation that makes you wildly happy.
