Acceptable irrationality

There is a point where irrational decisions pass from ridiculous to acceptable.

For example these days spending $100,000 on a car is considered acceptable (if you can afford to do so).

Contrast that to paying $6,000 to take a course entitled ‘The Art of Walking’ is considered ludicrous.

If you need to get from A to B a $20,000 car will do but some irrationality is more accepted by society than others.

So, who knows?

There may come a time in the future where every college will have a plethora of walking courses.
