Progress and patience

I think progress is key for patience.

I reckon the fast food joints are doing it right when they provide status reports for orders.

Even if progress is moving at a snail’s pace, it’s less frustrating than no updates at all and it reassures people that things are moving forward and being taken care of.

Without updates we’re left to our own imagination and the increasingly encroaching worst case scenario generator.
