Ill disguised micromanagement is so much worse than micromanagement.
At least with micromanagement you can sit back and let the control freak knock themselves out.
But a micromanager hiding behind vague language creates this weird cloud of ambiguity that makes the toddler question whether they actually have autonomy or if they’re going to get in trouble for not going with the ill disguised micromanagement option.
