I think it takes a very skilled group to navigate a grump in their midst.
The grump is all powerful with their suppresive mood.
They can dissolve a joyous chat with one look.
They can quell a silly conversation with a single comment.
The grump can be defeated but in my experience it requires uncommon skill and power.
