It feels dangerous to admit you have nothing to do in the working world because you just know someone will find something for you to do, whether you like that type of work or not.
So everyone keeps their workload vague, doesn’t ask too many questions in case the spotlight gets turned on them and maybe, to keep up the facade, submits assignments later than they actually took to buy themselves some relaxation time.
