‘If it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ is the saying of a lazy craftsman and not one I want working on my house.
This attitude leads to years of neglect, then it all comes crashing down and it requires wholesale radical changes to get you back on track.
Better, I think to be perfecting, daily. If not daily then regularly asking the question – how can this be better?
