Hermanus gasped and loudly reacted shocked to Gianis’ taste in yoghurt.

Hearing this, Ermis piped up and chimed in with the judgemental waves Hermanus was sending Gianis’ way.

I think it comes from people who are insecure in their own tastes and so they make a show of judging others to make themselves feel better.
