Corporate donations

“Now Billy, we have secured the funding to get you that new kidney and a new lease of life. But I should say the donation came from a company clearly trying to make up for an immoral blunder. Do you want to reject the money and die within a month?“

I think it’s quite cynical to view corporate social responsibility as 100% a bad thing.

Yes, it’s not great and I don’t condone only doing good things to make up for getting caught.

But those in need do win out of it, so it’s not a wholly bad thing.
