Truly accepting them

If the workaholic hangs out with the couch potato for long enough he will try to ‘fix’ him.

Which will drive the couch potato crazy and a wedge between the two of them.

What’s interesting is that the couch potato thinks the workaholic is ‘failing’ at life.

The game of Monopoly is explicit in the purpose of the game so it’s easy to see who is winning and who is losing.

But the game of life is open to interpretation and I think in order for both to love and truly accept the other for who they are they have to come to terms that there is no right way to play the game of life.

The workaholic can’t judge the couch potato by the workaholic’s definition of a good life.

The couch potato is succeeding by their own interpretation of the game.
