Miss Titheringate

When Zach was in Spain, on his summer holidays, he didn’t get frustrated when he couldn’t communicate with the locals because he knew from the outset that there was going to be a language barrier.

But when Zach returned to school and started interacting with his new teacher he was pushed to the brink of insanity because there seemed to be no winning with her.

That was until Zach’s older brother pointed out the ‘style’ barrier.

Yes they both spoke the same language but this teacher communicated in an unusual way.

The absence of criticisms on your homework was her way of saying well done.

She would never admit fault, the closest you would get is ‘mistakes were made‘ and you should not push any further otherwise she’ll rip your head off.

The savageness of her criticisms were correlated to how strong she perceived you to be.

Once Zach learned to speak Miss Titheringate he enjoyed school much more.
