I think the difficulty with decision making comes when you want two outcomes at the same time.
Team selection becomes very difficult when you simultaneously want to win and develop youth in one game.
Those who try to achieve both end up hedging their bets and I think have a poorer chance to achieve either goal.
But when you have a clear hierarchy in your head it’s easy and when that doubt arrives and says ‘oh what about the other goal?’ it’s a chance to strengthen your assertiveness.
