Genjamin & Calfred

Once upon a time there was a Basketball player called Genjamin and a player rep called Calfred.

And one day Genjamin said to Calfred:

‘Can we not train somewhere inside? I keep getting sick from training outside’

Now Calfred was supposed to voice all player issues to the player’s committee, at least that’s what he was tasked with doing.

But you see, Calfred hated speaking up at those meetings because it meant talking in front of Theila who has a vicious resting bitch face and asks the toughest questions.

So instead of working up the courage to help Genjamin’s wellbeing, Calfred replies with:

It doesn’t bother me

Complaint squashed. Feelings invalidated. Crisis averted. Courage not needed.
