Fast culture

At the Vincent Van Gogh museum there were those who stayed at each painting for a lengthy time, listening to the story behind the piece via the audio tour, and reading the description beside the canvas.

Then there were those who only stayed at a painting long enough to get a ‘candid contemplating’ shot and move to the top of the crowd to get an Instagram pose photo too.

For the second type it looked like a box ticking exercise.

Fast culture! Only interacting with art long enough to say you saw it.
