Dialled in

As soon as the meeting went to the person dialing in via zoom the level of respect and attention dropped.

Instead of making eye contact and at least pretending to be interested, the meeting attendees blatantly whipped out their phones or typed away on their laptops.

It was almost as if it wasn’t a human talking but a robot.
