Bogden and Tirak

Bogden and Tirak have just found out that their bid for a house has been accepted.

Bogden proceeds to mentally put the feet up, safe in the knowledge that their house hunting is over.

Tirak on the other hand is still anxious and won’t cease being anxious until they are living in the house.

I think the optimal mindset is somewhere between the two.

Bogden is naive to assume the job is done. A lot can happen between an accepted offer and actually owning the house.

But Tirak has written off joy in the near future until he gets full certainty with the resolution.

I think it’s important to stay agile and weary of unexpected curve balls but also not to miss the here and now worrying about everything that could go wrong.
