Time and depth

I think the press junkets with the 5 minute Q&As, cannot compete with the hour plus interviews.

Because everyone knows the interview will only last 5 minutes there is a pressure to provide quick surface level answers.

You can’t plumb the interesting depths of the guest when there is a countdown and you’re very near the end.

But when everyone is settled in for the long haul and time is not an issue, guests appear to relax and go into much more interesting detail.
