Although the bookshop and the library are peddling the same product the contrasting attempts at profitability are felt everywhere.
You can see it in the decor, the lighting, the staff, and most of all the books.
In the bookstore, the books are presented in a way that shows off their colour and shininess that encourages you to pick them up.
In the library, the emphasis is clearly on organisation. You see spines and the Dewey decimal system, not colourful colours.
It goes to show the difference goals can make.
