The pattern used to be:
Notice a frustrating characteristic.
Bring up the frustrating characteristic with another human out of earshot from the owner of the frustrating characteristic.
Together discuss in depth that frustrating characteristic.
Return to that person at a later point with a second frustrating characteristic for you to discuss.
The other person seeks you out to share their frustration discovery.
And before you know it, the two of you have made mountains out of molehills and now can’t stand the owner of the frustrating characteristics.
The pattern now looks like:
Notice a frustrating characteristic.
On its way from your brain to your mouth divert the frustration and let go of it via your ear.
I think the more you bitch the deeper the grooves form in your head and the stronger you resent a person.
But if you can intercept and dispose of the negativity before it verbalises you’ll have a much easier time at being a happy bunny.
A much better strategy for getting on with people you have to get on with I find!
