Building a culture

I think the novelty of a good start wears off.

Optimism can blossom after a mini positive speech at the beginning but it has a short life span.

It needs to be followed up with norms, processes, and habits for the positivity to truly be embedded in the culture.

I think if you’re not deliberately building something then you’re stagnating.

And by all means it doesn’t have to be perfect.

You’re not saying – I have it all figured out.

You’re saying – I want us to be more positive.

You’re picking a destination.

Then you trial and error your way to the perfect vehicle that takes you there.
