Never asked why

They never asked why.

They never sought to understand our qualms and hesitations.

They just sought to bulldoze over us by repeatedly ignoring our protests and just shoving their agenda further and further down our throats.

Now if they had taken the time to get to know where our reservations came from we would have felt heard they would have said where they’re coming from and it would have felt more like a conversation.

But they didn’t seek to understand first, probably because they didn’t want to compromise.

Which only enraged us.
