The triangle between Sir Alex, Roy Keane, and the fans is an interesting one.
Man United fans love both Sir Alex and Roy Keane but they also turn a deaf ear to when one bad mouths the other.
Why?
Because they know deep down that the fire that drove both of these strong willed determined men got out of hand one day and burnt down their relationship, like fires often do.
So, when United fans see Roy slagging off Fergie they know that these are not truly malicious remarks but of a great working relationship that ended badly and two characters who find it hard to forgive and forget.
