I think with sport it’s easy to become disheartened by losses.
Therefore if you were take over the Italian coaching job then it would be a tough job to all of a sudden start winning.
But you still want to develop and along with that increase morale and motivation.
Therefore I think there should be process goals that ignore the final result.
For example not conceding a try in the first 10 minutes or not giving away the ball in our half.
That way you focus the team on the right foundation before the results arrive.
The world may think of you in black and white terms but you can see the development in the grey.
