Anger v illogical

The stand up comedian made an art form of turning cynical observations into upbeat jokes that we could all laugh at.

You might say that’s their entire job but some do it in such a way that you feel distance between you and the comedian.

There’s a meanness to the way they do it that makes the stand up look like a grumpy old man and you feel like you disagree with their world view.

Then others do it in a way that it just points out the flaw in the logic. You don’t feel the genuine anger in the comedian, it all still feels like we’re being silly together.
