It seems like when you’re looking for inner peace all you’re given is opportunities to practice patience.
After a long hectic work day, you get to the beautiful park to catch the last rays of sunshine as you listen to the birds tweeting away but you’re thwarted!
As every dog owner in the local area has decided to show up, let their dogs off the lead, and then proceed to shout at their dogs for being animals.
Sadly, inner peace flutters away.
Next you go to the beach in April, so it’s not busy and a single jumper can help fight the chill.
You sit there alone, enjoying the rhythm of the waves crashing gently against the sand.
There is no one around you.
The relative silence is gorgeous.
Finally, you think, that long drive was worth it for this.
You wiggle your butt deeper into the sand, settling in for the long haul.
Now I’m definitely going to catch that wily minx inner peace.
Then your phone rings and it’s a relative in need of rescuing and you genuinely are the only one who can save them.
And you think this must be proof there is a god and he is toying with me.
