If comedy is the pleasant surprise from the unexpected, then diversity is a great thing.
If all you consume is the same show or the same style of show then you’ll start to see the patterns, anticipate the punchlines, and get bored.
But a workplace sitcom in the hands of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant can be a very different show to one created by Jamie Demtriou.
