Frank never really thought about his use of the word bitch before.
He used it so freely, it was second nature to him.
He would casually toss it out at work, on the crazy golf course, at the pub, on the 5-a-side pitch, at the club, at the shopping mall, wherever he roamed.
It was only when he got a complaint at work that he actually considered that there could be consequences to his vocabulary.
“What?!? But I say that everywhere! And I don’t mean offence by it. It’s just my nature. Like ya know sometimes it’s with respect like you Sheila you’re a boss bitch…
‘WHAT?!?’ Sheila exclaimed.
‘This is what I mean, it’s not a diss. It means you’re really good at your job and nobody crosses you, and you run this place so you’re like a BOSS plus that word. It’s a compliment.“
‘Regardless Frank‘ said Sheila in a much calmer tone ‘you have to stop using the term, people don’t like to hear it.’
‘But how come people on TV go Yaass bitch and they don’t get in trouble for it? People actually laugh and clap them!
‘I don’t know, just stop saying it at work alright’
Frank left the office feeling confused, misunderstood, mortified, and a little bit justified.
But they say it on TV and people laugh!
