I think the success of the Inbetweeners lay in their pursuit of women and in their disastrous attempts.
I think where the Inbetweeners 2 film fell down was that it branched away from that successful formula and instead focused on the mystery of finding Jane in Australia and what’s more, far too much time on the prospect of the Inbetweeners dying in the desert.
The first film was successful, in my opinion, because each one of the lads ended up with a girl and the film finished on a real high.
I think there can be no more successful Inbetweeners productions because the older they get the less excusable and funny it is that they constantly fail to understand women.
