When the media celebrates success stories, it all appears like it happened overnight.
Then ordinary folk are inspired by the success and think I’d like a bit of that.
So they give whatever medium that person succeeded in a go.
Thinking it’ll be easy.
“I’ll reach their Heights in no time at all”
Only to find that it’s an absolute slog.
You really have to want it and you have to make tons of sacrifices.
So naturally many people quit because they don’t love this new medium that much.
They just liked the image of success, that view from the mountaintop.
I reckon the best thing to do is not to fall in love with the images of success, be weary of them because they’re everywhere, but find a slog that you’re happy to do day in day out.
That’s when you’ll start to climb the mountain.
