You hear about these long marriages ending and you think wow what could have happened to break them up after 20 years?
Your mind races to the spectacular like Arnold Schwarzenegger having a baby with the housekeeper and ending his marriage of 35 years.
And you think it must’ve been something massive!
But it’s just as likely, maybe even more likely, that it was the accumulation of loads of little things.
Outsiders couldn’t see it but the relationship had been sliding for years and the breakup was a natural outcome to a decade of not talking to each other.
