Wouldn’t it be funny if relationships had an expiration date?
Like one would say to the other we’ve reached the max allowed time together we must now never interact again and find new friends.
It would be as formal as an employment contract ending.
The project is over, we shall go our separate ways now.
But that doesn’t happen (hopefully).
If you are to break up with your oldest friends you need a reason not just because enough time has elapsed.
If anything the more time that passes the more likely ye are to stay in touch.
And people offer a continuous learning opportunity as they interact with life.
It’s like a bottomless pit of investing time and effort.
