I think one mistake the over enthusiastic teacher makes is to throw all the insights at the student at once.
Which of course overwhelms them, scares them, and makes them feel stupid.
I think the experienced teacher knows the benefit of spoon-feeding and showing a progression plan.
They break it down into stages as they know confidence to this is key and we need to gradually build it
