It was one of those scenarios where you had to make small talk and the quicker you could get to the big talk the better because there was a real danger of long awkward silences.
Then I noticed a tattoo, and with few other options, I asked about it.
Low and behold it led to the retelling of a long personal story.
Which the raconteur was super invested in and spun his yarn with great passion.
Which led me to wonder – was the tattoo a way to guide social interactions?
Was he counting on me asking?
His choice of outfit appeared to show off his story trigger.
It’s not the worst idea if you want people to know this story and for it to come up in a natural way.
