You often see sitcoms utilize the meddlesome character to move plot along but I think it comes at too great a cost.
If you do it enough times the audience starts to hate that character.
Why can’t they just mind their own business?
It’s almost like the writer is hoping we’ll see that they mean well but I think it’s an excuse that shouldn’t be overused.
