I posit that the most interesting thing to look at in a restaurant is the other people.

The decor, the furniture, and the paintings might hold your attention for five minutes but I bet you’ll spend the majority of the time eavesdropping and people watching.

I think it’s because people change, people are expressive, people can shock you.

The art on the wall is static.

Much more interesting to view the moving object.
