I think one or two oddballs doesn’t make it a hipster town.
London would have lots of quirky folk, more than most, but the overwhelming majority is conventional.
Brighton on the other hand has so many unconventional characters, so many thrift shops, so many colourful shops, so many wild hair cuts.
It’s made the unconventional the norm.
That to me, is a hipster town.
