While there were many people in attendance, it was clear that this speech was for one person.
The others didn’t matter.
They would be forgiving of mistakes. They would give the speaker the benefit of the doubt and not ask really tough questions.
But that one person.
If all the attendees transformed into animals, everyone else would be puppies and this one person would become a cobra. Drawing all of your attention and fear.
