Have you ever encountered disproportionate rage and then that person quickly apologizes for their actions?
Stating something like:
“I’m so sorry about that, I’m currently going through a divorce, and my head is all over the place”
The apology is accepted and all is forgotten.
But that only seems to happen with events that are top of mind.
I would love a world where rage is quickly followed up by deep seeded trauma explanations.
Like:
“I’m so sorry about that, I grew up in a broken home and had to sell my body for food and I haven’t quite processed it yet”
That would be great.
Everyone would be so much more emotionally intelligent.
You’d get to know strangers at a deep and personal level.
If only…
