Planning with intent

I think regular planning is a great way to avoid wasted time.

Because let’s face it, mobile phones and social media are addictive.

And time is a precious commodity.

Arguably the most precious commodity.

At the end of YouTube rabbit hole you wonder, my god where did the day go? Try multiplying that by a year, then by a decade, then your whole life.

Atomic habits was a great book because it showed the power of compounded effort.

What if you replaced all that scrolling with something useful.

And I think it’s hard to think of something useful in the moment and too easy to reach for the phone.

Therefore I think weekly planning could be the best antidote for the addictive poison that is modern media.

That way you approach your time with intention rather than succumbing to reactive time wasting because your tired brain can’t think in the moment.
