For a while TikTok was overflowing with creators who were convinced that there was going to be a second secret Stranger Things finale being released a week after the original finale.
Some evidence sounded compelling and some far fetched but the volume of content created did start to make you believe.
Then the date for the supposed secret episode came and went and there was no new finale.
We can now classify ‘conformity gate’ as a conspiracy theory.
As for the evidence, I think if you read enough into anything you could create infinite theories.
And the video makers had 5 seasons and hundreds of hours of footage to play with.
