Adolescence was a remarkable TV show because it showed just how susceptible young minds can be to radical views on the internet.

Throw in some isolation and anger and the consequences can be dire.

But can you blame the parents?

This is fairly new terrain.

For the longest time kids could only use technology for video games.

And if a cult arrived at the front door and said – hey can you let us in to brainwash your kids – you could trust the parents to recognize the threat and protect the kids.

But now, you have platforms like Instagram and YouTube that pose as social media and video content sites but can deliver harmful echo chambers for your child to slip into.

Shaping a healthy mind in today’s world is no mean feat.
