Bot blaming

I think there is a temptation with AI to lay all the blame on the bot.

“Oh well that’s what the transcript said”

“This is what the bot gave me, is it right?”

But I think as humans who are getting paid, we have to take responsibility for understanding what’s going on.

For example calls, yes they can now be easily transcribed but that doesn’t mean you should mentally check out.

AI can still hallucinate and you need to know if it’s hallucinating.

So brain power needs to be expended to understand the situation well enough to know if AI is spewing nonsense or not.

Otherwise what value do you add?

Everyone has access to a bot, so if you don’t know what’s going on, we can cut you out of the equation and work with the bots ourselves.
