Slagging others

It seems to me that men of a certain generation would try to bond by slagging each other.

I can understand this when the relationship is years old, and the slagging is the established norm and both parties enjoy it.

But when the relationship is new I think it’s a terrible approach because on the surface it appears like bullying.

You’d need a psychology degree to know what’s exactly going on.

Also it’s inevitable for the other party to shut up shop and not provide any new information because look at how you use it.

Opportunities to find common ground = squashed in an instant.
