There’s no point waiting for the video footage because by the time you’ve analysed it all, you’ve lost the game.
That’s why I think the best coaches are the ones who bake adaptability into their plans and empower their players to make decisions.
Not build a meticulous game plan and scold players for not following it.
It’s a mindset shift from:
“I need to do all the thinking”
To
“How can I get the players to spot and execute in real time?”
