I think the path to lasting fulfillment lies in dealing with the monotony of everyday life.
Holidays are great. They can be novel and switch up the scenery but you can’t be on a holiday for the rest of your life.
Eventually you’ll come across some adversity to keep the holiday going, whether that means cleaning toilets or working as a remote customer service rep getting yelled at.
Suffering is inevitable.
I think if you can stay with the repetition and figure out a way to make a monotonous day fun then you’ve struck gold.
