The Greek gods were more flawed than the one Christian god.
Zeus got up to all sorts of hijinks, coming down to earth with his shape shifting adultery.
I’m neither an ancient Greek or a Christian but it appears that the greeks made role models that were more reflections of humans rather than a perfect ideal with shame surrounding everytime a human did what they were designed to do and sin.
It’s kind of like the age old question of who’s the better hero – the flawed Batman or the perfect Superman?
