In 2004 Kleberson joins Man United and quickly finds Roy Keane on his case at all times.
To Kleberson it feels like too much and surely Sir Alex who had been so nice to him doesn’t condone this behavior.
So Kleberson decides to trap Roy by making him shout at Kleberson in front of Sir Alex.
To Kleberson’s delight his trap worked.
To Kleberson’s horror Sir Alex did nothing about it.
It negated all the previous niceties because it felt like Sir Alex condoned Roy’s treatment of Kleberson.

I think it’s great when groups identify values and write them down but I think cultures are so much more than wall art or texts.
They are ever-evolving abstract hurricanes that manifest in feelings.
You can’t quite put your finger on it but you might say the mood isn’t right or the vibes aren’t clicking.
I don’t think success is the best metric either, I think the most important barometer is – do you feel comfortable bringing your full self to this group?
